David Steinberg is a veteran real estate development executive with over 30 years of experience leading strategic growth initiatives for nationally recognized brands across the United States. He brings deep expertise in site selection, lease negotiation, entitlement management, and multi-state expansion planning, with a track record of driving operational efficiency and successful deal execution.

Until May 2025, David served as Real Estate Director at Rite Aid, where he oversaw development and real estate operations across a wide-ranging territory spanning across more than 20 states including California, Arizona, Navada, Texas, New York, as well as the Northeastern, Midwestern and Northwestern states. Over his 17-year tenure, he played a key role in new store rollouts, relocations, remodels, and property dispositions – averaging 12 transactions per year and peaking at 17 deals in a single year. He also led company-wide initiatives such as software transitions, crisis management and distribution facility planning.

David’s career also includes leadership roles at CKE Restaurants (Carl’s Jr., La Salsa), Pennant Food Corp., and Cimm’s Inc., where he managed end-to-end development processes—from market analysis and site acquisition to construction management and tenant coordination. His strategic planning and value engineering efforts delivered significant improvements in costs, permitting timelines, and build schedules.

An active contributor to the commercial real estate field, David serves as:
